becoming fierce with strong Chinese and western players
entering the playground. Long established positions now are
being challenged.
Animalfeed Co. has being among the leadersfor years and
developed a strong brand name. However the company is
growing too slow and is loosing market shares.
The challenge for the CEO of AnimalFeed Co. was to find
someone with the SC expertise, professional approach,
and local understanding to design an efficient supply chain,
aligned with the enterprise strategy. He needed urgently to
answer to the following questions:
• How to adapt AnimalFeed Co. supply chain to market
migration and growth?
• How to align the production capacity with the demand plan?
• Where are the ideal future factory locations in term of
logistics?
The CEO of AnimalFeed Co. asked CEL to design the most
appropriate supply chain, a long term capacity plan with a
scalable logistic system. We proposed to simulate
supply chain evolution scenarios, modeling total cost and
investment needed, for the next 7 years
