JOB OVERVIEW

You will join the SIMCEL Product team working on a groundbreaking product that will change the way supply chains are managed. The technological foundation of the product is based on Simulation and Machine Learning and allows to project easily any business in the future. The tool is highly data-driven and integrates complex business logic, yet it needs to be accessible to industry professionals having limited technical skills, thus the critical importance of the UI/UX. 

 

Beyond the engineers and developers, the team is also composed of Supply Chain experts to ensure the tool to be relevant to the industry. Your role will be to develop the interface and ensure offering multiple features within a sleek, innovative and functional design, where data visualisation is central. Interactions will be key to success and the company puts user perception at the top of its priority and gamification as the underlying philosophy.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be in charge of designing, implementing and maintaining core features of our product              

  • Be in charge of Simcel's frontend implementation          

  • Be in charge of Simcel's frontend test coverage   

  • Ensure that features are developed with a high level of quality, as well as participate in our continuous refactoring endeavour.         

  • Be highly autonomous, especially be able to transform fuzzy, complex and various requirements into clear specifications, plan for their implementation and deliver.

  • Support the Product owner to make work estimates and plannings regarding frontend functionalities

  • Be a source of proposition to help the Product Owner / designers improve our user's experience                     

  • Provide support to other developers for front end development                                                  

  • Be extremely detail oriented when it comes to frontend UX edge cases handling

  • Go the extra mile to ensure user experience will be the best possible in every potential scenarios 

 

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years as a web front end developer

  • Angular: 3 years experience minimum

  • Proven experience writing extensive test suites (in both unit and integration testing) 

  • Proven Experience delivering responsive design integration with a pixel perfect mindset

  • Experience in code review

  • Demonstrated experience in dashboarding / data science related apps                         

  • Experience with the ngx-admin / nebular frameworks is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, total english fluency

  • Insure backend features are developed with a high level of quality, as well as participate in our continuous refactoring endeavour.

  • Help conducting non technical, cross departments meetings to transform Supply Chain knowledge into clear code specifications.

  • Be a source of proposition for new features or improvements.

  • Collaborate with the Data team to integrate the data intelligence it produces into our micro services.

  • Be highly autonomous, especially be able to transform fuzzy, complex and various requirements into clear specifications, plan for their implementation and deliver.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution

  • Maintain good relationship with customers

  • Maintain database of known issues and resolution procedures

  • Help developing core features of our product, front and back

  • Help users set up and use SIMCEL

  • Be in charge of implementing Supply Chain business logic into our simulator

  • Be the main point of communication between the users and project teams

  • Bring users's feedbacks into the product team

  • Maintain documentation about our product, with high standard of quality

Responsibility

●     Be in charge of architecturing, implementing and maintaining core data related code and features that will be used in production.

●     Ensure features are developed with a high level of quality, are maintainable and extensible, as well as participate in our continuous refactoring endeavour.

●     Create modelisations of SC problems, setup ML models, create feature detection code, analyse results and be able to advertise the restrictions of the models

●     Build hybrid systems with the dev team that will still perform in environments that are "data poor"

●     Help conducting non-technical, cross departments meetings to transform Supply Chain knowledge into clear code specifications.

●     Be a source of proposition for new features or improvements, especially offering new ML based approach to solve some of the many interesting problems we encounter

●     Be the voice of data in the product team

●     Collaborate with the Product team to integrate your code in production

●     Be highly autonomous, especially be able to transform fuzzy, complex and various requirements into clear specifications, plan for their implementation and deliver

 

Requirements

  • Master's degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline

  • 5+ years of experience in data science

  • Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis

  • Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience

  • Pragmatic experience setting up and operating ML models in production environments

  • Experience with database interactions (SQL or no SQL)

  • Experience programming using Python and R or related languages

  • Experience in forecasting

  • Experience in reinforcement learning

Responsibility

1.   Understand the business context, strategic intent and market dynamics

2.   Collect, clean, process and analyze sales and operational data to define baseline and identify opportunities

3.   Ensure the quality, robustness of the analyses performed through validation, reality checks, field interviews  

4.   Design and automate data analyses in line with Supply Chain and Demand Dynamics concepts

5.   Create advanced interactive dashboards for client to get continuous insights on their performance

6.   Participate in the development of advanced simulation models, machine learning and optimization algorithms

7.   Collaborate with software developers, consultants, managers

8.   Promote best practices within CEL

 

Requirements

  • English proficiency

  • Python/R for data analysis

  • Javascript frameworks for visualization (for ex: D3.js, highcharts)

  • Machine Learning in Python and shell scripting are a plus

  • Git

  • Master/Bachelor degree with a strong Mathematical background

Python Developer

Primary Responsibilities: 

  1. Develop python routines to support our data-heavy workflow

  2. Structure these routines in a cohesive set of tools

  3. Collaborate with Supply Chain simulation developers (using Golang)

  4. Collaborate with data scientists and Supply Chain consultants (using R)

  5. Assist in managing the server infrastructure (Linux)
