Self-Study
Learn on your own anytime, day or night, to accommodate your demanding schedule. The APICS CLTD Learning System is a comprehensive professional development and certification preparation program based on the APICS CLTD body of knowledge. The system provides reading materials and interactive web-based study tools.

Local classes offered by recognized APICS instructors for our local chapters (200 in North America) or international partners (100 outside North America) will begin at the end of 2016 or early 2017. The APICS CLTD Learning System may be supplied by instructors.

Total investment to earn your CLTD through instructor-led classes
APICS does not control partner pricing, which can vary significantly based on partner location and partner-selected APICS course materials (e.g., Learning System, APICS dictionary) and whether exam fees are included in the course price. Completion of instructor-led courses requires approximately 40 hours.

As an alternate study option, many APICS partners offer study groups. Please contact your local chapter or partner for CLTD study options in your area.

The APICS CLTD Exam Content Manual (ECM) provides guidance for individuals preparing for the APICS CLTD exam. CLTD Exam Process

APICS exams are delivered via computer-based testing (CBT) at Pearson VUE test centers, which are located around the world.

All APICS certifications require candidates to complete an Authorization to Test form in order to purchase the exam. APICS recommends that candidates review the CLTD Exam Bulletin for full details on exam process and procedures.

Schedule Your CLTD Exam

All candidates must have purchased an Authorization to Test (ATT) prior to scheduling their exam. Once you have purchased your ATT, you must schedule and take the exam within six months of purchase. APICS recommends that candidates review the Exam Bulletin for full details on exam process and procedures prior to scheduling your exam.

Schedule your appointment by logging in to your MY APICS account.
Review the confirmation notice to ensure the exam, the location and date are all correct.
If there are any errors or if no confirmation notice is received, immediately contact Pearson VUE.
For credentials with exam windows, you can only select an exam date in a window that falls within the ATT six month validity period.

Rescheduling an Exam

Review the exam bulletin for your credential before rescheduling the exam. If you need to reschedule your exam appointment within your chosen window you can make modifications directly in your My APICS account or call Pearson VUE direct. When you reschedule your exam you will be charged a nonrefundable rescheduling fee.

If you do not sit for the exam, you will forfeit the exam fees.
